Pre-published reader reviews -
"I have been reading a couple of chapters of your book (Cnute the Talking Skull) to my kids each night. They are 11 and 12 and obsessed with legends and myths. They also know French history really well because they were born and raised here in France. And most importantly they love stories. First thing to say is that they are LOVING the book. Each night they beg me to read more.

Dear Jennifer
This is what I think about Cnute the Talking Skull. If I would rate it 1 through 100, I would rate it 100. I loved the book and all the twists and turns. I thought it was very interesting and cool. I really liked the ending. I treally thought it was funny when Walter acted so cowardly. :'D (laughing crying face) I knew a little bit about Vikings before I read this book, but now I know a lot more. And in general, I LOVED THE BOOK!!!!!!!
Aaron, age 8
Wow! I love the use of Viking and French history -- the characters were great -- and the ending was really well done. I really liked the web of wyrd concept and the interconnectedness theme. just wow! really great adventure book!
Andrea, age 56
"Jennifer's writing is so lovely and warm, with that classic feel to it, and the concept is brilliant and has everything you could want out of a good story: undead Vikings, ancient curses, swords and of course, the disembodied head of a dead Viking seer and sometime sommelier!"
