Enchanted Oracle Deck
When one enters the enchanted forest, they will come to face, not only their destiny, but their shadow. The forest will bring out both the good and the bad in our natures, but fear not, there is always a lesson to be learned. The enchanted oracle will help understand life's questions when lost on our path. |
Review:
The cards are a wonderful accompaniment to the book in the classroom setting. The oracle deck is a wonderful way to prompt discussion and writing. I would love to use the card deck with my 4th grade and 5th grade students. There are so many ways teachers can use this deck. Teachers can select a card randomly or intentionally for class discussions. The cards can be used for writing prompts or daily journal writing in class. It would be fun for students to select their own cards for the day.
The oracle deck is a different way to engage students to make connections with characters from the book.
Readers can respond with a POV( point of view) of one the characters. They can compare and contrast themselves to the characters.
Teachers can use the deck for SEL ( social emotional learning) for character development and building self esteem. Students can role play scenarios using the cards for POV.
Teachers can have fun using these cards with their students throughout the year. The cards can be used before, during, or after reading the book. The colorful artwork is beautiful. The cards bring a visual of the author’s vision of each character. It’s a special addition to the book.
